To minimize your energy costs, Brentwood includes the following energy-efficient systems:

Heating and Cooling Systems:
We provide Lennox furnaces and Lennox air conditioners. The Lennox G40UH furnace and the Lennox-built Aire-Flo furnace have efficiency ratings from 80% to 90% AFUE, operating more efficiently than older furnaces. Their hot surface pilot (glow coil) adds safety and efficiency by eliminating the pilot flame.

The Lennox 13ACX air conditioning system carries an efficiency rating of 14 SEER, making it significantly more efficient than air conditioners installed as recently as five years ago.

Zone control is an option providing additional savings because it directs heated or cooled air to the areas where it's needed, not wasting energy on areas already comfortable.

Dual-Glazed Windows:
A quarter of all lost energy escapes through windows and that heat loss is cut in half through the use of dual-glazed windows.

ERV:
The Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) in the Brentwood Home plays an important role in improving indoor air quality. The ERV brings fresh air into the home and exhausts stale air out, while conserving precious energy.

	Provides a continuous amount of fresh air.
	Helps reduce window condensation.
	Uses about the same amount of energy as a 100-watt light bulb.
	Transfers both heat and moisture between incoming and outgoing air streams while conserving energy.
